A specialty gun shop with its own shooting range right in the heart of Vienna? That’s exactly what our STEINADLERteam wanted to check out. Alex visited SEIDLER WAFFEN in the 19th district, where he met Heribert Seidler—head of this long-established Viennese gun shop and a well-known figure in the industry for decades.
We take a look at what makes SEIDLER special today, get fascinating insights into the business from Heribert, and learn more about gunsmithing and the history behind the company, among other things. We also discuss a topic that’s currently on the minds of many gun owners: Austria’s new gun law. What has changed, and what should people be aware of right now?
Afterward, we head down to the in-house shooting range: five shooting lanes, distances up to 25 meters—and of course, we didn’t just want to watch. We’re shown various firearms and rental guns and try out some of them right there at the shooting range.
