TACWRK, in collaboration with BLADE CREATE and Fuchsbauschmiede, is launching the FOSSOR MK1 knife, crafted from used Bundeswehr folding shovels. This special knife features 160 layers of wild Damascus steel, a compact design, and will be available exclusively to TACWRK newsletter subscribers from June 11-14, 2026.
With the FOSSOR MK1, TACWRK, in collaboration with BLADE CREATE and Fuchsbauschmiede, is once again launching a very special knife this year. Crafted from used Bundeswehr folding shovels, the FOSSOR MK1 carries not only steel but also history within it.
The blade consists of 160 layers of wild Damascus steel made from tungsten steel, nickel steel, and material from former Bundeswehr folding spades. With a blade length of 9.5 centimeters, screw-on G10 scales in olive or coyote brown, a Kydex sheath, and a deliberately non-stainless steel construction, the knife remains compact, functional, and true to its origins.
