Zulu Nylon Gear is almost a hidden gem for us, although many people know about their stuff - Zulu also sews for ITS Tactical. Today we introduced the RSCR Chest Rig - HERE is the link to the review. We talked to Joel Zaruba about what else he does.

SPARTANAT: You come from the USA with Zulu Nylon Gear. What is your specialty?

Zulu Nylon Gear: We specialize primarily in manufacturing our own brand and developing products for other companies. We do a lot for others, but we also have our own product line.

SPARTANAT: Since when have you been producing equipment?

Zulu Nylon Gear: We have been producing tactical gear since 2007. SPARTANAT: We first knew about your Visor Panels for the car. What else do you have?

The MOLLE Visor Panel is a very popular item from our line. The Mega Admin Pouch is also very popular. We currently have the new RSCR Chest Rig as our latest product. I hope people like it! It underwent several years of development before I felt it was ready. My goal was to create a minimalist rig that offers only the essentials in a slim, comfortable format, but still functions well in a "tactical" environment.

SPARTANAT: Maybe more people know your work under the name ITS Tactical. Do you make their tactical nylon? How did that come about?

Zulu Nylon Gear: We have been involved in the development and manufacturing of many ITS Tactical nylon products - HERE is the link to the stuff in the ITS Shop. I knew Bryan from ITS from the beginning, and working on their nylon products naturally followed from there.
