The Future Infantryman System

A vision of the future: You can see in the dark, communicate silently, and act as a team. Everyone knows where their comrade is, even if they are not in sight. All comrades are connected through a network. A computer in the "electronic back" - a kind of backpack - takes over the processing and transmission of data that support the soldier in combat. The present: The infantry has been working with the "Infantryman of the Future - Enhanced System," or IdZ ES, for years on this vision that is already a reality. The system is constantly being adjusted and further developed. To gather experience, some soldiers of the Bundeswehr are equipped with this system.
