The image shows an HK416 with a RAHG Rail from Remington. The good old EOTech 551 is still in use with DEVGRU, and the magnifier is also not the newest model. With this weapon – the image was leaked via Mark Owen's Instagram account – history was made. It was wielded by the DEVGRU team's Pointman, who used it to shoot and kill Osama bin Laden. The fact that it was a device from Heckler & Koch – who surely appreciate the advertisement – was clear given the Elite SEALs' operation, but it's surprising that a rail from Remington is mounted.
The images here do not show the same weapon, but an upper that was sold in the USA on Gunbroker (for over $4,000). Here, the AAC Flash Hider at the end of the barrel is clearly visible. The other side of the upper: notice the H&K logo on the bolt. The Remington Rail was not standard for DEVGRU, instead it was tested along with the Geissele rail from the competitor. An expert suggests that the team that visited Osama that night could have used all three rails: Remington, Geiselle, and the standard H&K.
The RAHG is available in two lengths: for 14.5" and 10.5" barrels.
Here are images of a RAHG Rail for a 10.5" rifle:
The Remington Rail shows the trend that not everything has to be covered with sharp edges anymore. On the contrary, it is very smooth beyond the top. Pieces of rail are attached where needed to mount lights, lasers, and foregrips. The rail also integrates the "Attachment Points" for the sling: one at the front top and bottom, and one in the middle at the back, totaling three per side.

The entire Remington logo can be seen on the rail.
In the wild, the rail has hardly been seen. Only in a video from Medal of Honor, the SEAL Team 6 Combat Training Series Episode, where it was rumored that real DEVGRUs participated (and were cautioned because of it): the images of the rail support this, as it was initially hard to come by. Remington took their time to release the RAHG to the open market. Despite the image above – the Osama weapon – there are surely many who wish to have this rail. The RAHG is available directly from Remington here.
