The Quad-Eye from Photonis

The GPNVG-18 has been the top dog among panoramic night vision goggles for a few years now. However, there is a new contender from Photonis, the PD-PRO-Q Panoramic NVG.

Photonis is fundamentally a European company and with their new Generation 2 4G tubes, they provide strong competition for American Gen3 tubes. Along with the new smaller, more powerful tubes, there are also new night vision devices. The PD-PRO-Q Panoramic NVG with its four tubes has caught most of our attention.

It is nine percent lighter, 33 percent smaller, and offers an eight percent larger field of view than the GPNVG-18. Unfortunately, currently only available for the US market, but hopefully soon for agencies here in Europe. All detailed information can be found HERE.
