The Vortex Defender CCW is a very compact, rugged red dot sight, primarily for handguns. Here are the first facts from the manufacturer:

• compact design
• very large field of view
• available in 3 and 6 MOA versions
• extremely rugged and durable construction
• motion activated with 14h standby
• approx. 1500h battery life
• special design for "very robust" use

Not only included in the scope of delivery are the "usual" items such as device, Weaver mount, optic cloth, and instructions, but also various mounting screws to attach the RD to pretty much ANY handgun on the market, battery, and combination key for mounting, adjustment, and battery change; a prerequisite for this is an RMS mounting base, such as Glock MOS, etc.

Overall, the Vortex Defender CCW is very well thought out and comes with practical features that make it ideal for daily use, as well as for tougher conditions in sports and hunting.
