SPARTANAT: I am from Austria. I'd need some gear in Austrotarn, what could you sell to me?

AMERICANA PIPEDREAM APPAREL: Nothing. We aren’t selling any of the new camo to any European countries. That’s a sensitive issue to Austria and we respect that.

SPARTANAT: Everybody is looking to AMERICANA PIPEDREAM APPAREL, even the Austrian Ministry of Defense. Where did you get your hands on that stuff. Even our Army has not enough of it …

AMERICANA PIPEDREAM APPAREL: I cannot compromise our sources.

SPARTANAT: As an expert from abroad and a king of camo-business: What do you think about the new Austrotarn? Better than RAL7013?

AMERICANA PIPEDREAM APPAREL: Personally I find the new camouflage to be an improvement over RAL 7013. It gives a professional look to the armed forces in my opinion. But the real win that Austria’s army has on its side in the uniform area is its design team. They always incorporate useful features in the garments they design. Either RAL 7013 or Tarnanzug Neu, all the uniform items I’ve seen or worn have been top notch.

SPARTANAT: What's your favorite piece of Austrian gear?

AMERICANA PIPEDREAM APPAREL: Personally I very much enjoy the KAZ 03 field pants and the new camouflage variation of that design. They are very comfortable and practical for daily wear at work or in the outdoors. They also come in at a great price point for people who need pants but cannot afford to buy brand new pants of the same quality.
