The civilian version of the Jagdkommando AUG is now available in a limited series of 50 pieces as a Category B weapon in Austria! In addition to the land and air forces, the Austrian Armed Forces also have special forces. The core of this branch is the soldiers of the Jagdkommando. They train for operations in the most difficult terrain and weather conditions, in extreme danger situations, and under all climate conditions. This variant of the AUG is their standard weapon - until the successor model arrives. The civilian version is now available at AUSTRIA ARMS.

Only a small quantity of the AUG Jagdkommando Edition available: Steyr Arms has produced a limited number in honor of the elite unit for the 60th anniversary of the Austrian Jagdkommando. The specifications exactly match the original, except for the semi-automatic function and the magazine limited to 10 rounds. Olive green JAKO special coating. Compact barrel length 417 mm. Original AUG optics with MilDot reticle, which was exclusively reserved for the Jagdkommando. This optic is designed with a low profile, side Picatinny rails allow for the mounting of an additional red dot optic. This combination enables, among other things, aiming with a helmet and respiratory protection.
