VPAM-6 protects against Kalashnikov

ULBRICHTS Protection presents the world's first effective VPAM-6 head protection at the 10th GPEC General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference from February 20th to 22nd, 2018 in Frankfurt. The new protection level is achieved by combining a titanium helmet (VPAM 3 or VPAM 4+) with a visor.

The visor can also be retrofitted to many other helmets with Velcro. The visor reinforces the helmet shell in the particularly vulnerable frontal head area. This system is capable of stopping a projectile from an AK-47 and reducing the bullet's energy to a minimum, greatly increasing the wearer's chances of surviving an attack. This new development benefits not only special police and military units, but also patrol officers who have recently been equipped with ballistic titanium helmets in many states.
