Concealed carry reimagined

03/28/2016By Redaktion

Not only the Easter bunny hides its things, but also people who want to protect themselves. They carry it concealed. But we're not talking about eggs here, but about a weapon. A company from the United States has come up with new, exciting thoughts about it. And we don't have to worry, the result of it will never be legal here, but it's still interesting to look at: the company Ideal Conceal wants to bring a two-shot pistol to the market that looks like a smartphone.

Conceal3The illusion is relatively perfect, as there is even a dummy camera lens on the box that passes as a phone before it is unfolded and held as a normal firearm. The grip is also the protective cover for the trigger. The weapon has two shots in the .380 ACP caliber - which is slightly weaker in dimension and strength than the classic 9mm.

Conceal2Company founder Kirk Kjellberg got the idea for the weapon during a restaurant visit. A child reported a man who was carrying a concealed (and legal) pistol: "Mom, mom, the man has a gun!" The weapon from Ideal Conceal would be largely legal in the states because it is not ready to fire when drawn, but must be unfolded first. For people who don't want to put the thing in their pocket, there is also a belt clip.
