US Army: Goodbye, UCP!

For those who didn't know, since October 1, 2019, the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) is no longer the official camouflage of the US Army. The pattern was introduced in May 2004 and was supposed to be "universal" camouflage. Somehow it was, because it didn't camouflage well or at all.

Somehow, it was unbeatable on Grandma's couch, but luckily no wars are fought there.

As the new standard camouflage for the US Army, only the Multicam-like Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) is now in use, which has slowly been introduced since 2014. Since October 1, 2019, the US Air Force has also started issuing clothing in OCP.

So, farewell UCP, we won't miss you!
