Selected Russian military commentators continue to complain about the superior Ukrainian capabilities in the field of drones and electronic warfare on the battlefield, highlighting the fast and steady cycles of tactical and technological innovations that characterize the battlefield in Ukraine.

A Russian military blogger, who previously served as an instructor in a "Storm-Z" unit, published a list of complaints on June 4, describing the challenges that the Russian armed forces face in countering Ukrainian drones.

The newly appointed Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov is said to have invited selected Russian war correspondents and milbloggers to a meeting with him to co-opt several Russian actors in the information space.

The Russian armed forces have recently advanced near Vovchansk, Siversk, and Donetsk.
