UF PRO: Hunter Gen.2 Tactical Sweater available now

TRZIN, SLOVENIA (February 8, 2019) - UF PRO® announces that their new Hunter Gen.2 Tactical Sweater is now available online and in the company's store in Trzin.

The lightweight and functional UF PRO® Hunter Gen.2 Tactical Sweater, according to Armin Wagner - Head of Product Development for UF PRO®, was designed to keep wearers warm and dry during the damp, cooler days and nights typical of spring and autumn.

"This is the sweater you will love to wear when you are on a mission in March and April or later in October and November - during these seasons when it is too cold for a combat shirt, but not cold enough for a well-insulated jacket," says Wagner.

According to Wagner, the UF PRO® Hunter Gen.2 provides more than just warmth. It is water repellent and 100% windproof, allowing wearers to stay dry in misty or drizzly conditions and protected from the effects of a brisk breeze.

Also, the body sweat that comes in contact with the unique, lightweight thermal lining of the sweater dries so quickly that wearers won't even realize they have sweated, Wagner adds.

"The thermal lining consists of COCONA® Inc. 37.5™ microfleece, a 100% polyester fiber," reveals Wagner. "We chose it for its superior performance characteristics in a variety of situations for which the Hunter Gen.2 Tactical Sweater was designed."

Other fabrics are also used in the UF PRO® Hunter Gen.2 Tactical Sweater. "The outer material is 100% polyamide," says Wagner. "And to increase abrasion resistance, we have reinforced the sides with 100% nylon fabric that extends from the armpits to the waist."

With a weight of just over half a kilogram, the UF PRO® Hunter Gen.2 Tactical Sweater can be easily folded or rolled up and takes up exceptionally little space in a backpack, emphasizes Wagner. "Its low mass means it can be taken anywhere, which is initially a good idea because you never know when the weather will turn against you - despite what the forecasters predict," he says.

Wagner also emphasizes that wearers will appreciate some other important features - so much so that they will be inclined to make the UF PRO® Hunter Gen.2 Tactical Sweater their first choice garment this spring and autumn.

"It comes with elastic cuffs and twice as many pockets on the upper and lower arms as you would expect," he says. "There is an upper strap that you can grab with your teeth so you can open the upper arm pockets with just one hand. And above the pockets, you can attach a Velcro cover that comes with a pocket of just the right size to store a pen or a card light."
