UF PRO: The P-40 All-Terrain Gen. 2 is here

At the end of July, UF PRO will release a fully updated version of their popular tactical pants P-40. The new model – known as P-40 All-Terrain Gen. 2 – includes innovative design elements to provide the wearer with a better fit, improved freedom of movement, superior comfort, extreme durability, and higher functionality.

"We are very confident that the tactical community for which the P-40 All-Terrain Gen. 2 was developed will make it their everyday all-rounder," says Armin Wagner, Head of UF PRO Product Development - HERE in our interview – "and therefore we have designed these tactical pants for use in any terrain and for any activity," he adds.

"The P-40 All-Terrain Gen. 2 Tactical Pants use larger stretch inserts made of Schoeller® dynamic stretch fabric. In combination with their unique anatomical cut, these panels allow the wearer to move without restrictions and limitations," says Armin.
"The freedom of movement of these pants and the incredible elasticity of the stretch inserts over a long time is the reason why we chose the Schoeller® dynamic stretch fabric."

With special cut stretch inserts, the wearer's comfort experience is enhanced. In cold weather, wearers can choose to add a WINDSTOPPER® lining - HERE in our SPARTANAT Review. The lining, which can be easily attached via a zipper, provides warmth even in temperatures below zero and is completely windproof. The pants become the perfect legwear for the cold season.

From the first generation of P-40 comes the modular knee protection. "The construction of the pants has been improved in the knee area to provide additional comfort and to benefit from our UF PRO pads for extreme cushioning or protection or both," says Armin Wagner.
"Additionally, the pockets where the pads are inserted have been redesigned to ensure that the pads stay even more securely in place while walking or jumping. For additional cooling, these pockets can be fully opened."

Other important features of the enhanced tactical pants

Nine highly functional pockets. Two of them are side pockets with dual access and plenty of space, special inner compartments, and an additional CORDURA®-reinforced gear pocket with a securing strap. The remaining pockets, all constructed with CORDURA® reinforcement, include pockets where a variety of essential items such as phones, knives, pens, small electronic devices, and extra magazines can be stored.

Improved Durability

The seams have been made even stronger thanks to a new manufacturing technique. The result is less susceptibility to tears from branches, metal bars, and other sharp, protruding objects that the wearer may come into contact with.

Additional Functionality

The pants are equipped with hooks at the bottom of the pant legs that can be attached to the boot laces. This is to prevent the pant legs from riding up when walking, running, or sitting. The pants also have CORDURA®-reinforced double loops along the waist, allowing the wearer to carry an additional duty belt with mission equipment on the belt. In addition, the width of the lower leg can be adjusted to the wearer's needs.

The P-40 All-Terrain Gen.2 Tactical Pants cost 152 Euros. The pants are available in the following colors: Kangaroo, Black, Navy Blue, Coyote Brown, Brown Grey, and Steel Grey.
