TRC Outdoors - Jungle Loop Line

04/12/2024By Redaktion

TRC Outdoors brings you a Jungle Loop Line and we haven't seen one in years. In the late 80s and early 90s, a Loop Line was an important piece of equipment.
It was a piece of 1-inch nylon tubing with a loop sewn at both ends.

It could be used whenever a line was needed, either on its own or combined with other Loop Lines. They were combined by threading a strap through the loops, making a line as long as needed, for example, to cross a river. This way, each member of a group could contribute to a longer line without one man having to carry a whole rope. The rope can also be used to make an individual "Swiss Seat" (as seen in the video) and is more comfortable than a rope.

Other uses include tying tarps, securing poncho shelters, etc. A Loop Line is a multipurpose item that can be versatile on a long patrol.
The TRC Outdoor model comes with a DMM carabiner and a laser-cut, PALS-compatible carrying strap in Multicamo or Ranger Green. It is priced at £50.
