Saab's training solution for Poland

Saab has signed a contract for the delivery of several live training systems and services to the Polish Armed Forces. The total value of the contract amounts to approximately 1 billion SEK and includes the delivery of a complete live training solution for a reinforced mechanized battalion and four training centers for company-sized units. The contract has a duration until 2026, including support for a period of three years.

This contract ensures that the Polish Armed Forces will be equipped with innovative, flexible training solutions and the necessary training capabilities. This will enable the customer to train as realistically as possible, both domestically and in the field of need in international cooperations. The solution includes capabilities such as Saab's latest exercise control (EXCON) and communication systems, as well as high-fidelity simulators of the latest generation for soldiers, weapons, and vehicles. The support component includes deployable, integrated logistics and operational support for the Polish Armed Forces.

“This is an important investment and a long-term solution that will enhance the training opportunities of the Polish Armed Forces both at the national and allied level. The procured systems enable integration with other simulation systems used by the Polish Armed Forces and allied armies, and will particularly contribute to effective training cooperation with the US Army,” says Colonel Artur Kuptel, Chief of the Polish Armament Inspectorate.
