For those people, there is now the Shroud Headlamp Adapter from Team Wendy. This small plate clicks into the NVG plate, the headlamp is placed between the two brackets, and then simply secure the headband around the helmet. The headlamp is held in place and cannot slide up or down on the smooth helmet anymore.
