TCCC in crisis areas: Prolonged Field Care Course in Iraq

One can still register for this high-end course, which focuses on PROLONGED FIELD CARE (PFC). Everyone who is truly interested in tactical medicine on the battlefield and in crisis areas should not hesitate to register.

The entire course is conducted in an authentic working environment under real conditions. The entire course takes place in the Republic of Iraq. The total duration of the course is 168 hours. The course is organized by an NGO: The Academy of Emergency Medicine (AEM) was founded in 2014 as a non-governmental organization (NGO). The NGO is based in Slovakia and registered with the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic.

As an NGO, AEM provides medical emergency care, training, consulting, and support in remote areas around the world. They work closely with the international humanitarian community, civilian and military medical personnel, police, and military.

Since registering in the Kurdistan region in 2016, AEM has been active in war-torn Iraq, with their certified nurses, paramedics, and doctors working to save lives along some of the most unstable and dangerous frontlines in Iraq and Kurdistan. Throughout their operations, AEM has treated over 3,000 civilian and military casualties in nine months. Their presence in the region has had a significant impact on the survival rate and quality of treatment for war injuries. AEM was also the first NGO to operate in the city of Mosul and other active combat zones.
