Super secure home office

The German IT security specialist ECOS Technology presents an update of the ECOS SecureBootStick. The solution for highly secure remote access now offers a dynamic network switch between VS-NfD infrastructures (classified information - For official use only) and regular networks. This makes it even more flexible and easier to use in remote work scenarios when dealing with sensitive data and less critical information. The updated ECOS SecureBootStick also now features an integrated WebEx client, allowing users to participate in video conferences directly from the stick without additional installation or complex configuration.

Secure Use of Private Devices Also for VS-NfD

The ECOS SecureBootStick is used location-independently for secure remote access to sensitive data and has been approved by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for the confidentiality levels VS-NfD, EU, and NATO restricted. The special technology ensures the establishment of a highly secure connection when the stick is inserted. This occurs completely independently and separately from any other software on the used computer and without local data storage or interventions in the respective host system. This enables the easy use of private PCs and laptops or the utilization of company laptops by external employees and consultants. Thus, the use of the ECOS SecureBootStick increases flexibility and helps reduce costs and administrative effort. The ECOS SecureBootStick has proven itself in use cases around home office, business trips, in crisis situations, for external employees, within project groups, as well as for mobile deployment forces.

The sticks can be rolled out within a few hours thanks to Easy Enrollment and central management, and are low-maintenance due to remote updates. Depending on the variant, the ECOS SecureBootStick also features a card slot for PKI cards and service IDs in ID-1 format. This makes the solution compatible, for example, with the Bundeswehr service ID.
