Strong Europe Tank Challenge

We have always been big fans of sports competitions and have wondered at the same time why the great Russian Tank Biathlon is not already a real Olympic discipline. Well, that – and the fact that no Western forces participate in the competition in the wild East – may have political reasons. Now there is something similar in the West: the U.S. Army Europe and the German Bundeswehr will hold the Strong Europe Tank Challenge at the Grafenwoehr training area from May 12th to May 13th. The prizes will then be awarded – quite unbelievably – on May 13th. The Challenge is the first Europe-wide tank competition in "Grafenwoehr Training Area" (US designation) since 1991.
