SOFIC 19: General Dynamics introduces new version of the LWMMG

At the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC), General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems presented an extended version of their Lightweight Medium Machine Gun (LWMMG). It uses the caliber .338 Norma Magnum, which falls between 7.62mm and .50 cal. Effective range goes up to 1700 meters and even at 1000 meters, the LWMMG can penetrate Level III protection.
