SHOT Show 2022: Spiritus Systems

When it comes to "Gucci Gear," SPIRITUS SYSTEMS is at the forefront. Always hyped and well executed, that sums up their gear nicely. They presented some new products at this year's SHOT Show:

The Micro Fight MK5

Brand new and already in production, this Mini Chest Rig/Placard should be available soon. In the cover photo, you can see the Micro Fight MK5 with an additional pouch attached. "That's a step back," says an early observer of the Placard. SPIRITUS was a big proponent of MOLLE. Now, here it is again, especially for pouch attachment MOLLE/PALS is more stable than Velcro. Very solid at its core.

Double Mag Pouch

Also new are magazine pouches with a slightly special laser cut. This "crow's foot" cut allows relatively stiff Cordura to become somewhat elastic. Let's see how this holds up in the field. Definitely a new approach.

The same pattern applied to elastic pouches here. The advantage is that the rubber underneath is protected by the now elastic Cordura.

Dangler Handwarmer

Since Americans apparently don't have good gloves, they always need a muffler (humor alert). This concept from SPIRITUS SYSTEMS is windproof.

With a zip, the handwarmer can be made nice and small.

To keep fingers warm, the Dangler Handwarmer is nicely lined with fur on the inside. We suspect it's synthetic fur, so no worries.
