Be embraced: T.REX ARMS 556 Ready Rig

Just in time for Christmas but too late for our tree, T. REX ARMS have released their own Chest Rig. Lucas Botkin is known to you as a shooting god from his YouTube Channel.

So what does Lucas have for you: In the video for the new Gear, which you can check out on his website, you get a simplified version of the whole story of Chest Rigs, presenting this thing here, the 556 Ready Rig, as the pinnacle of evolution. You may see it that way, you don't have to.

Set up and equipped, the Rig reminds us of something else: the Clutch by Unity Tactical, the thing from First Spear, or even the Secret Cummerbund by Tasmanian Tiger. In other words: a flexible waistband that accommodates magazines and equipment. The Arktis CROPS is similar, but places the equipment on the rear half of the body.

Lucas, raises the Ready Rig a bit higher and adds two fixed shoulder straps to it, turning it back into a full-fledged Chest Rig for concealed carry. The whole thing wraps around the upper body, which may work better for someone who is smaller and slimmer like Botkin than for larger and firmer individuals.

From the front view, the Ready Rig also looks like a Chest Rig, here with a slick plate carrier underneath and an attached admin pouch. Surely the T.REX ARMS AC1, which came a week earlier and reminds us of other minimal plate carriers. The Ready Rig would integrate perfectly as a kind of cummerbund.
