We wanted to know from them how they came up with the idea of ​​making wonderful jewelry out of ammunition. And how they do it...

SPARTANAT: Florian, how did you come up with the idea for Real Bullet Design to make jewelry out of bullet casings?

Real Bullet Design: The idea for Real Bullet Design spontaneously arose in the spring of 2016 at the shooting range.

As enthusiastic sports shooters, we reload our ammunition ourselves, so we already had a rich assortment of casings. One day we began experimenting and producing, and have not stopped since then.

Now every day we create new models in various calibers and let our creativity run wild. Witnessing the creation of jewelry and following the development of a caliber series is still a success story for us.

We use already fired bullet casings - each recycled - each a unique piece with lead-free full copper bullets. To maintain the shine longer, our jewelry pieces are sealed with a surface finish.SPARTANAT: What are the different options for adornment? What models do you offer?

Real Bullet Design: By now we have about 100 different products.

We have cartridge necklaces and keychains in many different calibers and designs, as single bullets or with accessories.

Various bracelets from Paracord, to more elegant designs (BlackCord and lava stones) to simple dangling charm bracelets with beautiful charms, uniquely the shortened 9mm cartridge specifically for the charm bracelet.

Most of our items are unisex and are worn by both women and men, but we also have a "4Ladies" collection. You can also purchase gift vouchers from us if you are not sure what to give.

SPARTANAT: Do you also make custom pieces? Or do you mainly stick to pre-made designs?

Real Bullet Design: Although we have our designs, each piece of jewelry is unique, as it is handcrafted for each customer.

Furthermore, each of these cartridges is unique and has its own signature from the weapon with which it was fired. So you could say it's the same product but not identical.

We also custom make pieces, we often have customer requests for additional desired personal engravings or millings on an existing design or with slight modifications.

Sometimes our customers also inspire us with their requests for items they would like to have made, and if these are feasible in terms of materials, we are happy to create them as well.

Real Bullet Design: As a sports shooter, my favorite is the 9mm, as I train and compete in all competitions and championships with this caliber, and have been quite successful in the last few months, winning two Vienna regional championships and the ÖHSV Vice Championship Service Pistol.

.223Rem, .45ACP, .357Mag must also not be missing.

But when it comes to our unique pieces, the .308Win is more of my favorite, as many of our models are created with the .308WIN.SPARTANAT: What is your personal favorite piece of jewelry?

Real Bullet Design: Hmm... that's honestly hard to say, and I'm glad that the week has seven days, so you can choose your jewelry for the day according to your mood in the morning and simply choose a different favorite piece the next day.

Among my favorites are our Bullet Twin Paracord and the Warrior Edition. I also wear our Bullet Cross NO.1 quite often, for any occasion. Since yesterday, a new favorite has been added, our Bullet-Dogtag .45ACP.

My lady loves her charm bracelet with the 9mm charm pendant and wears it every day. The combination of Brain & Skull necklace as well as the Brain & Skull keychain for her handbag is also a must in her jewelry box.
