Viridian Weapon TechnologiesTM presents a new product at the SHOT SHOW 2017 that fills a gap: the FACTTM, a weapon-mounted camera is introduced. It is suitable for police officers as well as civilian users who want to document any potential self-defense.

"No product launch at the SHOT SHOW 2017 is more relevant than the FACT," says Viridian® President and CEO Brian Hedeen. "The FACT can show what really happened in a situation where a handgun was used." Hedeen further states, "FACT does not replace a body camera; but with its positioning directly under the muzzle, with high-definition video and forward-facing audio recording, a FACT camera can better tell the story of something that happened."

FACTTM [Fast Access Camera Technology] was developed for law enforcement, private security services, and legally armed citizens. It includes Viridian’s INSTANT-ON® activation, as known in their weapon lights, which ensures that HD video and audio recordings start every time the weapon is drawn from the holster.

Three different FACT models will be introduced in 2017.

FACT DUTYTM: The model for law enforcement with HD camera, audio, and 500 Lumen tac light for duty weapons (ADMIN Data Evidence integrity built-in).

FACT COMPACTTM: This model fits on any rail and is designed for compact weapons. HD camera, audio, and 140 Lumen tac light.

FACT MICROTM: This model can be mounted on the trigger guard and is designed for subcompact weapons/concealed carry pistols. With HD camera and audio recording.
