The Gepard anti-aircraft tanks have proven to be an extremely efficient weapon system in Ukraine. So far, there have been no reports of losses. Two days ago, a screenshot from a video surfaced for the first time, showing a hit from Russian loitering munition ("kamikaze drone" in popular terms) on a Ukrainian Gepard. Today, Russian channels released this video snippet: we don't know the location or whether the vehicle was damaged or destroyed. In the most extreme case, this could even be a mockup to show a Russian success.
Russian interpretation of the hit: "In recent days, several Ukrainian ADs (Air Defence) have been destroyed, especially in Kherson. The fact that the Gepards are so close to the front line indicates that the Ukrainian forces do not have enough air defense and are forced to move some of their air defense from the rear to the front line."
