Romania procures K9 self-propelled howitzers

Romania, following Poland's example, will purchase 90 K9 self-propelled howitzers from South Korea. The first delivery will include 54 units. Poland is buying a total of 672 K9 self-propelled howitzers. This continues the trend of Poland and Romania frequently procuring the same weapon systems. Poland is also focusing on intensive cooperation with the Koreans to develop its own defense industry.
