REVIEW: X-Bionic X-Socks

One does not see them (well, normally not) and yet they are one of the most important pieces of equipment: socks are the fabric on which we all walk. They play a role in how well our feet feel. Today we are taking a look at the X-Socks from X-Bionic that we have tested for you.

X-Bionic is the high-tech manufacturer among sports underwear producers, who also has their own military line (we have already introduced you to the excellent underwear HERE in long and HERE in short). With these socks, it's not much different than with the underwear: they have so many features that one could actually write a dissertation about them. Above all: they keep the feet dry and odor-free. Both of these aspects can be confirmed to a high extent with the X-Bionic X-Socks.

So the functionality is given. The problem we had during testing was that after about three months, the socks started to disintegrate.

If it had only happened with one, maybe it could still be acceptable. But the disintegration occurred on both socks at the same time, on the right and left. We suspect that it is the transition between the two materials that forms the weak point.

CONCLUSION: And without falling into damnation because of it. These are excellent socks. Perhaps that is exactly why we wore them a bit too much. However, something like this should not happen. Nevertheless, X-Bionic fortunately offers a two-year warranty on its products and if one has bought them from an authorized dealer and also kept the receipt, there is nothing in the way of getting a new pair. These socks are so good that they deserve a second chance.
