REVIEW: Vertx Kryptek Caps

The country needs new patterns. The head does too. - The Kryptek Caps from Vertx offer just that. And give us at SPARTANAT the opportunity to introduce you to the four main patterns of Kryptek.

"Mandrake" likes it green. This camouflage pattern from Kryptek fits in any area where plants dominate. A suitable mix of browns is included. The viewer immediately recognizes Kryptek by its very unique structures, reminiscent of reptile skin. Or perhaps even insect eyes...

"Highlander" is a pinnacle of multi-terrain capability. The light green mix with brown dominance allows this pattern to blend quite well with Multicam. The pattern structure of Kryptek is sometimes in the foreground and strong, then the honeycombs blur with the background again and the areas become dominant.

The "Nomad" likes it bone-dry. The Kryptek pattern is adapted to areas that get by with almost no rain. Nomad comes in a monochromatic design and blends with the monotonous arid ground.

"Typhon" is the urban pattern of Kryptek. Black and gray blur the contours here and yet give a quite classic-looking cap. The camouflage patterns of Kryptek have the characteristic of looking "very civilian". This may be due on the one hand to the fact that we almost only know pixelated patterns from the military sector. Kryptek, on the other hand, has a completely unique structure that looks very modern and also appealingly aggressive.

CONCLUSION: Classic caps from Vertx in the cool camouflage pattern of Kryptek. The caps are "one size fits all". The Vertx logo is discreetly incorporated at the front on the Velcro, and there is a small square Velcro at the top for an IR tab. With a good sweatband inside and perfectly made, the Vertx Kryptek Caps are excellent headgear and a real eye-catcher because of their camouflage pattern (up close, of course, from a distance you can hardly see them, because Kryptek camouflages well 🙂 ).
