REVIEW: TS Mini Counter Weight Pouch

02/06/2013By Redaktion

Pouches! Pouches! We need pouches! - Even though it moves away from modularity, Velcro still offers a full range of possibilities for attaching pouches. Above you can see two wonderfully small examples of this: the Mini Counter Weight Pouches from Toy Soldier are attached to our Slick.

The real model: A SEAL with an Ops-Core Ballistic Helmet and MS2000 Strobe, with a Mini Counter Weight Pouch on each side.

Here they are, the dear little ones: the size of the Mini Counter Weight Pouches can best be assessed when compared to CR123A batteries. Because they also fit inside the pouch, there are three in the second from the left. You can also use a Velcro strip with elastic to keep the batteries from being lost individually inside. With Velcro, the pouches actually go on the helmet - or anywhere else.

CONCLUSION: Small, fine, practical. Battery containers as a counterweight for the NVG on the helmet, a nice idea that also looks very cute.

You can get the Mini Counter Weight Pouches directly from Toy Soldier in the colors AOR1, AOR2, Khaki, and Multicam, in pairs for $19.50 (excluding shipping).
