Hot in the City? Only a short will help. TAD Gear is at the top of the list of coveted gear for Geardos. We introduced you to the classic Force 10 Cargo Shorts some time ago. These are essentially the same in construction, but made of a significantly lighter material. Perfect for the summer. These are the AC - formerly also called "Amphibian." The color here is Gunmetal. The shorts are also available in Black, Green, Desolation (Khaki), and Chimera (Coyote).
That's the difference from the normal Force 10 Cargo (below). It is made of a RipStop fabric with 50 percent cotton and nylon, while the AC (above) is made of nylon.
This is noticeable in terms of weight. The Force 10 AC Cargo is about a quarter lighter than the normal Cargo Shorts from Triple Aught Design. This gives it a very airy and light wearing feeling.
What's special is that these shorts dry extremely quickly if they get wet in the rain, at the river, or by the sea. And eight pockets have space for everything you want to take with you, including two hidden pockets for your passport, money, or condoms. Always be prepared, says the scout.
On the back, there are two back pockets and a reinforced seat through gussets. The durability of the material is phenomenal, we have been wearing AC Pants for years, and despite frequent washing, they have not really changed in their structure and color. They have only become more amphibious, none have been sorted out so far.
The rest is just a great design. The phone pocket, for example, is a feature you don't want to miss in urban EDC.
Everything makes sense here. The thigh pockets are large and spacious. And if you want to carry a ruler or a big flashlight, it's very easy here. You can introduce things into the thigh pocket from the top through the flap.
TAD has also included a D-ring in the pocket, as in the belt area. What's particularly special is the processing of the buttons. They are held on a sewn nylon strip - like Canadian Buttons - and are easy to "operate". Otherwise, the features correspond to the TAD Gear Force 10 Cargo Shorts. Please refer to this review for all details on Force 10 Shorts.
CONCLUSION: The perfect summer shorts. Hot price, but due to the quality, years of wearing pleasure. Geardo must have.

The ranger eye on the pants is a nice added value: the little patch glows in the night.
