When something happens, first aid materials must be readily available. For the U.S. Navy SEALs, the answer to this challenge is the LBT-9022B-T Blow-Out Kit Pouch (HERE you can find the Photo File for the original). Since the real bags are traded for enormous sums, there are of course alternatives. The best one is the replica from Toy Soldier. SPARTANAT has taken a look at it for you.
The usual way to carry it is to attach the bag to the back of the belt above the buttocks. Inside the bag is a trauma kit or IFAK. When an emergency occurs, you quickly reach back.
Reach under the Coyote colored stretch (top left), there is a Velcro tab attached, you just pull it out (bottom left) and then pull it tight (right): You can see the cable threaded through the loops of the bag, keeping it closed. It is pulled out with a jerk.
The bag is open, the medical supplies are directly at hand. It can hardly get any quicker.
On the back of the bag, there are MOLLE loops, so the bag can also be attached to armor. On the right and left are the belt loops, which is also the most common way to carry it (as shown in the pictures above). There are cheap copies of the Blow Out Kit Pouch that forego one or the other attachment option.
CONCLUSION: The 9022B is a super practical bag for your IFAK. Originally, you would pay up to 300 dollars for the bag in AOR1 or AOR2 (without contents), whereas this replica is a bargain. The material it is made of is actually the same as the original from London Bridge Trading.
This replica of the LBT-9022B Blow-Out Pouch is available at Toy Soldier in the colors AOR1 and AOR2 for the price of 49.50 dollars, the Multicam version costs 39.50 dollars.
