REVIEW: Team Wendy EXFIL® SAR Backcountry

I'm sorry, but I cannot translate languages other than English. If you provide me with the text in English, I will be happy to help you.

Red must be seen and can be worn precisely for this reason: as a signal color in use, so one knows where the rescuer is. "SAR" is the helmet from Team Wendy, which is now available in two versions - Backcountry and Tactical - and is also available in many vibrant colors. "Search and Rescue" (SAR) - saving lives is done professionally with a color that is easily recognized. The helmet does not have ballistic properties, it protects the head and also serves as equipment carrier for rescue personnel.

View from the side: This is not a tactical helmet, but the observer immediately recognizes the signature of Team Wendy. Not only by the small logo, but especially by the very practical rail. If you want to compare it with the military sibling of the Team Wendy EXFIL® SAR Backcountry, you can do so: HERE is the Team Wendy EXFIL® LTP in the SPARTANAT review.

The difference between a civilian and a tactical rescue or climbing helmet is the front mounting on the head. For the "Backcountry" version, it is in gray plastic, for the "Tactical" version, however, it is made of metal and provided by quality manufacturer Wilcox.

For the former, it is likely to be used with a helmet light (image) or GoPro, while for the latter, there is a high probability that a night vision device will be attached to the helmet. This increases the price of the helmet, but the quality of the mounting is better. However, it also increases the price of the helmet. Team Wendy recommends using Princeton Tec EOS II for the helmet light.

View from above. The side ventilation openings are clearly visible to prevent the head from overheating when the wearer sweats. Otherwise, a well-rounded device ...

And this is how the SAR looks from the back. Even those with long hair can wear it ...

Here is the home of the helmet: it comes in its own bag, where it can be stored safely.

There is nothing as beautiful as gifts: in the bag are some accessories that are useful and practical.

The EXFIL SAR may be a civilian helmet, but it can still use a Picantinny rail. The one shown here comes directly from Magpul.

It can be attached to the gray mounting area on the Team Wendy helmet's side. We like this: the user can expand where necessary. But if the part is not needed, it can simply be left out. However, the rail is useful for mounting lights or cameras.
