The joke was initially that you would get this bag for free, if you apply to the Austrian military police: They have a new assault rifle. Compact (not related to the Chancellor), with great rails and new optics. That also needs a new home. This bag was specially developed by Tasmanian Tiger for the requirements of special forces, and the Command Military Patrol & Military Police of the Austrian Armed Forces is the first unit to equip its soldiers with this bag. But we were proven wrong: At BLACK SHADOW - and only there - you can purchase this weapon bag.
Outside the juicy shell, inside the crunchy filling. The shooter with a Steyr AUG with a short barrel can get the ideal bag for his weapon. AR15 with a 10.5" barrel also fits. After looking inside in the opening image, here's the usage: you can carry the large, flat bag like a backpack. Practical!
There are a total of four magazine pockets included.
However, one of them we misused to compare the logo of Tasmanian Tiger with that of Red Bull. Strangely, they look quite similar.
The magazine pockets are not only generously sized inside - which is good because the AUG magazine with its hook doesn't like too tight AR15 pockets - but also equipped with Velcro, so the interior can be completely customized.
The entire bottom of the weapon bag is lined with laser-cut Velcro. It holds anything that comes with male Velcro. Cleverly, the Velcro is also MOLLE laser-cut, so you can easily and stress-free install MOLLE pouches as well.
The weapon itself is secured with two straps. Front ...
The straps are looped on bars made of Hypalon.
They have - you guessed it right - Velcro. This allows the weapon to be mounted freely in the space of the weapon bag as the owner desires.
This is how the whole thing looks when the strap for securing the weapon is closed. You can either mount the beam "fixed" inside the weapon bag. Alternatively, you could just velcro it to the weapon and place them in the bag. It holds.
The good thing from the back looks like a backpack.
Behind the straps is a very flat compartment that extends two-thirds down the bag. Target sheets, thin shooting mat, that's what we would store there.
Also, a side handle is present so you can carry the weapon bag either upright or horizontally.
On the top outside, there is a compartment that makes up about a quarter of the bag and is also very flat. We store our operational literature there. A wide strip provides enough space for many patches. We find that
