A filled back can be delightful, especially on a plate carrier. The disadvantage is only if you don't end up needing all the pockets. Who wants to thread MOLLE pouches forever and then thread them back on later? That's where TASMANIAN TIGER comes in with the new Molle Panel ZP. Find out what you can expect from their new Zip-On Panel.
The TASMANIAN TIGER Molle Panel ZP is actually quite simple. It offers you a surface of five MOLLE/PALS columns and twelve rows, so plenty of space to attach all kinds of pockets and other MOLLE accessories.
At the two ends, you will find a Daisy chain sewn on. You can use this for cable management, or simply attach carabiners or lanyards to it.
The top side features a Velcro opening that allows you to access the "inner compartment."
Here you have an attachment for a hydration bladder. The inner compartment extends over the entire length and is about 28 cm deep.
The attachment of the Molle Panel ZP is quite simple, but not necessarily suitable for quick changes in the field.
First, in the upper area, the two plastic tabs must be inserted into the MOLLE/PALS loops. The Velcro surface also stick to the Velcro on the back of the plate carrier.
For optimal grip, the Hypalon straps with snap buttons must then be attached to the plate carrier. Finally, close the two zippers. Now the MOLLE Panel ZP is securely in place.
The great thing about the MOLLE Panel ZP is that it comes with zipper adapters.
These are simply looped onto the plate carrier of your choice, giving you the appropriate interface without having to spend extra money.
These adapters also work very well on backpacks. In the picture you can see the TASMANIAN TIGER Mil Ops Pack 80, but they also fit very well on the smaller Mil Ops Pack 30.
This way you can quickly adapt your backpack to the mission, or attach the panel from the plate carrier to the backpack, in case you ever need to use the backpack over the plate carrier.
The zippers are compatible with those from CRYE, so the MOLLE Panel ZP fits all plate carriers that support this "standard."
CONCLUSION: The new TASMANIAN TIGER MOLLE Panel ZP is a practical way to quickly change the back of your plate carrier. This panel also has its place on a large backpack to adapt quickly. Thanks to a multitude of MOLLE/PALS slots, you can attach pockets as needed. A very practical solution, in our opinion.
The TASMANIAN TIGER Molle Panel ZP is included with the Plate Carrier QR LC ZP and is also available separately from all retailers carrying TASMANIAN TIGER for €60。
