When we go out, we always need a bag. Does this sound familiar to you? Right, it's the girlfriend... And what's inside the handbag? We do not really want to know. But now you can outdo her. Because this is the ultimate handbag for the man who wants to take everything he immediately needs with him. Almost as much as his girlfriend (but only almost). Today we present to you the Tasmanian Tiger Equipment Bag.
Who can claim to have 42 liters between their legs? We can. That's the volume of the TT Equipment Bag and here we have everything we need for operations: Uniform, First Line, and plate carrier fit in. And the bag still has room, if you want to exaggerate.
Sling bag or carrying bag with handle? In this case, there is no conflict of conscience. The TT Equipment Bag is both...
Air is the right keyword. Because nothing smells as good as equipment that gets air. Therefore, ventilation is particularly important in an equipment bag. Both upper corners are made with massive mesh to make this work.
Women usually know that handbags belong to them. Equipment bags are not as individual and usually appear in packs. That's why besides the Tasmanian Tiger logo, there is also a Velcro strip for patches and a clear pocket for necessary papers on the outside.
Privacy, everyone wants that. Girls don't like it when people rummage through their bags. We don't like strangers invading our bags. The massive zipper ends in two zippers that can be locked with a small lock. You already know: trust is good, control is better...
The interior is disappointing when it's suddenly empty. This is not the bag's fault, but it is just a means to transport your gear. Here we have unfolded the empty bag and you see - nothing. That's good, because on the left side there are fixed mesh pockets, on the right, two detachable mesh bags.
Let's start on the left: the pockets are super practical, so the user can pack together what belongs together. Here we fill one pocket with caps and balaclava. Everything related to the head ends up there. That's order, where you can easily find what you need for the operation.
The mesh pockets are not continuous, but divided, resulting in a large pocket on the right and left. Here we store the Crye Precision Uniform.
The mesh bags can be unclipped and they too get specific contents, e.g. gloves or straps.
Here is the bag outside. Extremely practical because you can also use it to collect things, put them in the Equipment Bag, and then sort them out later. At the same time, the mesh is so robust that you don't have to worry about anything happening.
Ready packed, the entire day's equipment is inside. In the middle, a War Belt laid out. Now add the plate carrier - shown in the previous picture - then close the big flap. The result is the 42 liters between our legs in the second picture from the top.
CONCLUSION: An extremely practical equipment bag for what needs to go into action quickly. The bag is made with a mix of Cordura and nylon, with mesh as an added bonus. And all at a good price. If you want to take your helmet with you, you can surely get it in there, otherwise we recommend separately the TT Helmet Bag, HERE with us in the review.
The Tasmanian Equipment Bag costs 120 euros and is available at the retailers listed on the TT website.
