Quarks are tiny particles in physics, from which electrons, protons, and neutrinos, hence atoms, are built. The Quark Credit Card Holder from Tardigrade Tactical is thankfully not quite as small, but close, compared to conventional wallets.
This minimalist wallet is only 10 x 7.5 cm when closed. Empty, it weighs a mere 40g. Those who look closely can see the logo of Tardigrade Tactical from Denmark.
The Quark is also thin. Depending on the contents, it may not be more than 1.5 cm. It fits perfectly in any pocket. The good piece is made of mil-spec Cordura laminate, which is laser-cut into shape.
The back of the unfolded Quark is plain, almost empty, like the space inside an atom.
Inside, pure minimalism. Enough space for up to eight cards of all kinds. The Quark also accepts folded bills, but despises coins.
To make it easy to get the cards out, a practical finger opening has been laser-cut. Under this double compartment, there is another slot for up to two plastic cards or a few business cards.
To accommodate all common Euro banknotes, some origami must be applied, but then it works great.
The Quark is closed with velcro. There's no need to reinvent the wheel. The label of Tardigrade Tactical and the flag of Denmark are also nicely incorporated.
CONCLUSION: For those looking for a very minimalist wallet, or rather card pockets, the Quark Credit Card Holder is definitely worth considering. The craftsmanship is top-notch, as are the materials used. Small, practical, perfect.
The Quark is available, for example, HERE for approximately €38 excluding shipping, in black and Multicam
