REVIEW: SPARTAN Airsoft M26 Dummy Frag Grenade

03/21/2012By Redaktion

Authentically reproduced in 1/1 scale, the M26A1 dummy hand grenade from Spartan Airsoft Tactical. The grenade is made of plastic and is particularly detailed, with a hollow interior. The upper loop with retractable pin is made of steel. Ideal for reenactors or airsoft players to complete their equipment. But the grenade also looks great on display.

Technically, this grenade is the M61 version with the so-called "Jungle Clip." This additional safety feature prevented the grenade from detonating if the pin was accidentally pulled out (e.g. by plants or branches in jungle vegetation).

The M26 fragmentation hand grenade was developed as a successor to the M2 hand grenade. The M26, introduced as the standard hand grenade for the US Army in 1950, was used in the Vietnam War. At the end of the Vietnam War, the grenade was replaced by the M67 model.

CONCLUSION: Perfect M26 dummy

You can get the SATC M26 Dummy Frag Grenade at Kotte & Zeller for Euro 34.90.
