REVIEW: Russian Bayonet 6X5 Dummy

It lies there threateningly. Yet it is so harmless: this knife is made of black rubber and is for practice. The Russian nomenclature is 6X5, the knife is the bayonet for the AK74M.Instead of the Bowie knife appearance of its predecessor, it simply has a pointed "blade". Full rubber and absolutely harmless in a stab, because it is brutally flexible.Nevertheless, the top is simulated with saw teeth.The blade also has a hole for connecting the knife to the sheath and could be used as a wire cutter. This thing obviously doesn't cut a single wireThe handle structure looks like the real 6X5. The button at the back would be the locking mechanism for the bayonet on the rifle. Here it has no function. The rubber holds.With the eyelet, 6X5 is pushed over the muzzle flash suppressor.This is how the bayonet looks when mounted. It holds up great as well.

CONCLUSION: A really sharp dummy of the AK74M bayonet, we'll have to have a drink on that. Very suitable as a presentation tool.
