Winter? Vodka warms. But that alone doesn't drive the Russian warrior: Ratnik is the name of the new uniform, we present it to you. This time with the Level 2 of the VKBO Uniform: the long winter underwear.
Cheers! Long underwear looks like long underwear, and this one is just as functional as its Western counterpart. Keeping warm and wicking away sweat, that's the demand. And it does it. It's not FR. For comparison: this is what the US special forces uniform PCU Level 1b looks like. The Russian counterpart is made by the BTK Group for the Russian Army.
The top in a stylish brown. The plastic feels dry-silky on the skin and is very comfortable to wear.
The shirt has a rather high round neck.
We find the sleeve feature exciting: with thumb holes, you can pull the sleeves over your palm. The Russian winter is cold.
In terms of cut, the shirt is somewhat asymmetrical: longer in the back. This is good so there is never exposed lower back to see.
A back can also charm: that's the complete rear view.
The long underwear on a man simply looks like long underwear.
The waistband is rather inconspicuous and thin. Underneath, the little man can play Napoleon. Classic access to everything, just like with our undergarments.
The VKBO Level 2 underpants are ankle-length. Here's summer for comparison.
CONCLUSION: Good functional underwear, excellent quality at an unbeatable price. Russia took inspiration. As always, with very good results. The Russian recommends this layer for temperatures from +5 to -10 degrees. If it gets too cold, vodka will surely help.
The VKBO 2nd Layer Winter Underwear is available directly from Russia at GREY SHOP. The set of shirt and underpants costs 18 dollars.
