REVIEW: PIEXON JPX JET PROTECTOR with Laser & GUARDIAN ANGEL 2 + 3

Self-defense is a tricky thing. The defenseless and the weak resort to tools to protect themselves: the first choice is often a commercially available pepper spray. Apart from the fact that pepper spray is legally designated in Germany for deterring animals, sprays often pose a danger to the user. The range can quickly run out, the wind can blow the charge into your face, and so on. The Swiss company Piexon has addressed these problems and successfully distributes self-defense devices, or in Germany animal defense devices, that are almost perfect. Today we present to you the JPX Jet Protector and the Guardian Angel 2 or 3.

Preliminary note: As mentioned before, Piexon products are classified in Germany as "ANIMAL DEFENSE DEVICES" and should be treated as such. Anyone who uses the devices offensively commits a criminal offense; in cases of threats to life and limb, the judge will decide whether the defense was appropriate. Neither the JPX nor the Guardian Angels are toys, but rather propellant-operated systems that can cause serious injuries when used improperly. This is particularly true when the minimum distance is not maintained (as you will read later in the review).

ACTIVE INGREDIENT

All Piexon products contain the same active ingredient: Piexol400KS. This is a 10% Oleoresin Capsicum, an extract from the cayenne pepper plant. OC has been proven to be more effective than CS or CN tear gases, especially against attackers under the influence of alcohol or drugs or against dangerous dogs.

The effect occurs immediately upon impact. The high speed of the liquid jet, combined with the strong irritant effect, immediately stops an attacker's forward movement. OC irritates the eyes, mucous membranes, and respiratory organs. Temporary blindness, coughing, nausea, and extreme discomfort are the result. Due to the high speed, the jet also penetrates behind eyeglass lenses, masks, and so on. The duration of the effect is between 45 and 60 minutes.
