REVIEW: NINE RELOADED The Mag Loader

Who doesn't know the laborious and time-consuming task of loading magazines by hand. Who doesn't always look for the quick, simple, convenient, and energy-saving way to load several magazines with just a few hand movements, whether from the box or loose. The Austrian company NINE RELOADED has developed a loading system that allows the use of various magazine adapters thanks to its innovative design, and at the same time, a solution is offered for all types of handgun models. SPARTANAT has taken a closer look at this Mag Loader, extensively tested it, and is presenting it here today.

The Mag Loader comes with an adapter suitable for GLOCK 17 magazines (for most double-row GLOCK magazines), a special loading funnel for loose ammunition, and instructions.

Functions

The bullets are loaded from traditional 50-round packs using the provided loading rail.

Bullets from loose packs can be filled into the magazine through the loading aid using a special loading funnel (included).

This Mag Loader from NINE RELOADED allows not only the quick loading of magazines, but also easy and fast unloading.

This unloading notch on the side of the loading aid is designed for unloading the magazine. Simple and efficient.

No magnets are used on the loading strip, but rather a rail system. The cartridge base is captured and slides down by gravity.

This nose pushes the cartridge into the magazine.

When I press the loading lever, the nose moves back via spring force, and the cartridge slides down.

When this loading lever is completely relaxed, the nose pushes the cartridge into the magazine. Here, the principle and technique of a grip trainer from the fitness area come into play. It is always important to press completely and also completely relax.

Loading from the packaging

With the loading strip, the shooter moves over the cartridges and threads the cartridge base onto the strip.

The cartridges are held in the loading strip.

Then the empty and appropriate magazine is inserted into the Mag Loader until it clicks into place.

It is important that the loading lever is fully and firmly pressed down repeatedly and then fully relaxed. This process is repeated until the magazine is filled. Side effect: trains and revives muscles in the forearm.

Thanks to gravity, the cartridges slide in when a cartridge has been pushed into the magazine after the lever has been completely relaxed.

The locking wings on the adapter piece are used to remove the magazine.

By pressing the locking wings on both sides, the filled magazine can be removed.

Loading from the dump

The supplied loading funnel from Nine Reloaded is inserted onto the loading rail all the way down to the adapter.

The cartridge is inserted into the funnel from above. It is important that the charging handle is not pushed through.

The cartridge is in the funnel. The charging handle is relaxed.

Now press the charging handle, then the cartridge falls into the adapter. Completely relax the charging handle and the cartridge is pushed into the magazine by the nose.

Changing adapters for magazines

With a replaceable adapter, the modern loading aid can be used for different magazines from different manufacturers (HK P30, CZ Shadow 2, Tanfoglio, B&T, SigSauer P226/P228/P229/X Six, SigSauer P320/P250, S&W, CZ P07).

The process of changing adapters is very simple. Here we switch from GLOCK to SigSauer. The appropriate adapter is ready.

Both locking flaps on the side are pressed. There is also a slider at the front of the adapter, this is pushed upwards.

Simply take out the adapter from NINE RELOADED.

Insert the adapter for SigSauer magazines into the loading aid until it locks in place with a distinct click.

The change of adapters was quick and the Mag Loader from Nine Reloaded is now ready for use.

CONCLUSION: We had the Mag Loader from NINE RELOADED in continuous use and were able to efficiently fill different magazines with the help of various adapters. The loading aid from Nine Reloaded convinces in many aspects.
