REVIEW: Multipurpose Sling MKII by TASMANIAN TIGER

Rifle slings are perfect for a steady and precise shot. There is a multitude of tactical slings and various mounting options for long guns. From the German gear forge TASMANIAN TIGER comes a new 2-point Multipurpose Sling MK II tailored to the needs of users and with multiple ways to attach it to different weapons and equipment. SPARTANAT took a closer look at the sling.

The package of the Multipurpose Sling MK II consists of an adjustable and padded sling. In addition, interchangeable snap hooks like the Rifle Hook, three meters of military cord and a loop are included.

The adjustable 25 mm wide sling is made of nylon webbing.

The neck/shoulder area is 55mm wide, padded, and ensures a comfortable wearing experience.

The Multipurpose Sling MK II is designed to be flat. It doesn't interfere or hinder the wearer in any way, no matter what equipment they are carrying.

Several ladder buckles provide the option to adjust the length of the Multipurpose Sling MK II.

The different attachment options allow the Multipurpose Sling MK II to be attached to various weapons, items, and bags. All attachments have counterparts for snap hooks to be attached to the sling.

HK hooks are attached to a sturdy 25 mm webbing strap. A rubber covering is used for noise reduction. The hook can be clicked into the sling via snap closures at the end.

A tape provided with two ladder buckles can be threaded through the slots on the shoulder rest, for example, and then secured with them.

Another mounting option with a 3mm rope for cameras (2 strings with a diameter of 3mm each). According to the manufacturer, the maximum load on the camera suspension is 85 kilograms. Once the inner white core is visible, they should be replaced.

The rope can be threaded through various cameras via suitable eyelets.

For easier and quick length adjustment of the Multipurpose Sling MK II, a stable, high-quality plastic ladder buckle with cord is used as a slider.

Pulling towards the wearer on the quick adjustment extends the shoulder strap.

By pulling firmly in the forward direction on the quick adjustment, the Multipurpose Sling MK II is shortened again. If you have done this several times in both directions, the whole process will be much smoother.
