REVIEW: Mechanix Original

02/15/2012By Redaktion

These Mechanix gloves have become very classic, probably remembered by many because of the white lettering. Today we want to introduce you to the pair that started it all for Mechanix in the tactical/military field.Actually, they are not tactical gloves but, as the name suggests, mechanic gloves. They are protective gloves for people working in an auto workshop. The palm is made of fine synthetic leather. The fingertips and the top of the thumb and index finger are also made of this material. The back of the hand and the rest of the fingers are made of spandex. The inside of the glove is lined with polyester. The wrist closure made of textile rubber is tightened with a simple Velcro strap. As you can see, these gloves do not have cuffs.

CONCLUSION: Classic tactical gloves that are actually not. The construction is very good, they fulfill their purpose more than adequately. This version has become quite iconic over time.

Available on Ebay starting at $10 excluding shipping in various colors
