REVIEW: Marz Tactical Plate Carrier

Only the tough will make it through, seems to be the motto of the US company Marz Tactical Gear (MTG). Today we present their Plate Carrier, which is available in Germany at SNIPER AS.

Here it is, the Marz Plate Carrier: a tough guy made of 1000D Cordura, so sturdy that you can use the PC solidly as an equipment carrier even without plates. Marz provides a complete set with two cummerbunds - in the picture the MOLLE version - and with shoulder pads.

Tough guys can also be soft. The Marz PC is super cushioned on the inside.

The top cummerbund is designed as MOLLE and can also accommodate Side Armour. The lower cummerbund is made of sturdy Stretch in Coyote and can hold two magazines on each side. Of course, radios are also possible. You get both and can choose: expandable with MOLLE or low profile with Stretch.

The Marz uses 1000D Cordura for the MOLLE loop, not its own MOLLE fabric. Some people frown upon this, thinking that only Asians like to do that. We have nothing to complain about with this solution...

CONCLUSION: The Plate Carrier from Marz Tactical Gear is perfectly crafted and made from the surprise material Cordura 1000D. We had almost forgotten how good that feels. It doesn't always have to be 500D. Those who choose the Marz PC get a rock-solid carefree package that is durable and high-quality.
