That's a Magpul on the right... And on the left as well. At least the edges you see are from Magpul, because the shiny surface is the Apple iPhone 4. And because we wanted the iPhone 4 to be "tacticool" too, there was no alternative to the Magpul iPhone 4 Field Case.
The most exciting thing you see in the middle of the back of the case: the Magpul logo. And on the edges, the ribs that are supposed to remind of a Magpul P-Mag.
The inside of the Tatzel bears a label and not much else new. Buttons where you press, openings where you can connect something.
CONCLUSION: The most exciting thing was the procurement, owning the Magpul iPhone 4 Executive Field Case doesn't have a very high arousal factor. Admittedly, a nice case, but nothing special. The material is the same as the P-Mag. The packaging praises the special features when the phone slides into the pants with the case. It may be true... In principle, we liked the more heavily ribbed Magpul case for the iPhone 3G/3GS much better. But that's a matter of taste...
The Magpul iPhone 4 Executive Field Case is available on ebay.com and costs around 15 dollars there.
ATTENTION: There are two versions. One is for a provider where the iPhone 4 has differently positioned volume buttons, which causes it to protrude slightly at the edge on the "European" iPhone. This can be fixed with a sharp knife inside the Magpul. The difference between the two cases can be seen at the camera opening - the incorrect opening here is "Pear with straight edge", the correct one is "Pear with indented edge".
