REVIEW: Leo Köhler Commando Suit in Concamo

I'm sorry, but we don't have the ability to translate text within HTML elements, image sources, and links at the moment.

Brand new and already in the forest. What you see here is the first uniform in the new German camouflage pattern CONCAMO, produced by Leo Köhler. We received a set in advance and are taking an exclusive look at it for you. The focus is not only on the uniform, but also gives you the opportunity to take a closer look at CONCAMO.

Above all: it's a new camouflage pattern - HERE our conversation with Matthias Bürgin, who developed CONCAMO. But it's not a new uniform. Leo Köhler for the first time combines the fresh fabric with the proven field blouse and the classic combat pants. The features correspond to the well-known designs.

And of course, it's still exciting to look at this new combat suit in CONCAMO. If you have such a cool camouflage pattern, as a tactical hipster, you might as well wear the collar up. There are no regulations yet for wearing this uniform, but as it is rumored, this might change very soon.

On the proud swollen chest, there are two vertical chest pockets, the left one with Velcro for the name tag. Max is a secret, so it doesn't say Max. That's how our secret warriors are.

The field blouse is not buttoned, but Velcroed. it doesn't press anything when you have a plate carrier on top. Everyone is already waiting for CONCAMO Cordura to be available soon.

And of course, nothing works without shoulder flaps. Where else would a man carry his rank badges?

The main pockets are on the upper arms. They have Velcro so you can take patches with you.

And they are designed horizontally for easier access by the wearer. The closure system is also interesting, as it adopts the Russian idea that the pocket is closed by folding the overhanging fabric. At the same time, a Velcro closure with strips seals everything.

The sleeves are also Velcroed, not buttoned.

And there's a huge slit that makes rolling up the sleeves easier. Here, the viewer can see very nicely that the fabric inside is not camouflaged, but in the base color it is actually sand-colored/tan.

The combat pants on the man, all CONCAMO. Evil tongues might say: in terms of the color choice - sand, reddish-brown, green - it's a bit reminiscent of a classic German three-color paint scheme...

The fly is secured with one button and one zipper. Note the green shading and tonal gradation.
