REVIEW: KSK snow camouflage suit

The thinker appears in the white cold, because if you want to contemplate undisturbed, you should better be well camouflaged. In winter, you need a snow camouflage suit for that, it has the necessary special powers to make you invisible. Today we present to you the snow camouflage suit of the KSK.

The suit itself is an overall consisting of pants and a top. Both can be folded up fairly compactly and weigh around 600 grams.

The snow camouflage suit is made of polyethylene, which is the same material as plastic bags. So you are well packaged and protected from the environment. The tag inside also gives you good tips for care. White tends to get dirty easily.

This is what the pants look like on the body. Nice and white with no stains, at least for now. The material is definitely less noisy than a plastic bag.Suspenders hold up the pants. The length adjustment is buttoned and located on the inside. This prevents snagging.The lower quarter of the pants legs are equipped with a zip. This allows the pants to be put on over footwear relatively easily. A few more centimeters of zipper length would have been helpful.The zippers are YKK and of the best quality, but they could also be a bit larger. With gloves, these small zippers are hard to grasp. A solution for this would be to attach zipper pulls.The front of the snow camouflage pants offers an opening. Careful handling is advised, yellow stains are easily visible on white.

There are also small YKK zippers on the sides. One vertical and one horizontal. These are the pass-throughs so you can access your stuff in the uniform.However, a snow camouflage suit is only complete with the top. It is interesting to see that the pants and top come from different production lots. You can tell by the blue of the zippers on the pants. Don't worry, they are white, but they just reflect blue very well.Even the top of the KSK snow camouflage suit is a plastic bag, at least made of the same base material. The net-like material is only found on the inside, the suit itself is not lined. The outside is smooth.

Thanks to the continuous front zipper, the jacket can also be put on quickly. It is very long and somewhat reminiscent of a "bone sack."Waist adjustment is only for hipsters. The jacket can be cinched at the hem. The sleeve ends feature fixed mittens, so the wearer doesn't need extra gloves in white.The jacket of the KSK snow camouflage suit also features zippered pass-throughs.The hood is generously sized so that a helmet can be worn underneath.Of course, the hood can be cinched with cord stoppers. We attached paracord so the zipper can be gripped better.
