REVIEW: Invader Gear Para Smock Everglade

Pleasant, the green in the eyes. No wonder. this is not the season now. to have so much green. We still show you the Para Smock from Invader Gear in the Everglade camouflage pattern. The name of the pattern is reminiscent of a large swamp area. And the pattern itself reminds us clearly of ATACS-FG.

The jacket is called a Smock, but is actually a field jacket. So you won't find spacious pockets in the hip area to replace your armor. The cut is classic and appealing in its simplicity.

The hood is adjustable at the back with Velcro (left). If you're not using it, there's a high collar that closes high around the neck.

The inside with a pocket and lining (left), which is designed to prevent excessive sweating. The black fabric is also visible when you open the sleeve ventilation, which is designed to keep the climate inside balanced during exertion. And you can also see it in the sleeve (right).

Two pockets at the bottom front, two at the top front. The upper ones have double access. Via the Canadian buttons on the front and with a zipper on the side. This provides for convenient access if you don't want to fumble in from the top.

On the upper arm there is another pocket, with a velcro in the shape of a coat of arms, which is quite specific. At the end of the sleeve, the sleeve end can also be narrowed with velcro. You can see the black lining again.

CONCLUSION: Classic field jacket with very good workmanship at a good price. This Smock is not really a smock in the narrow sense, but a durable jacket, which is available not only in this ingenious camouflage pattern. This not only camouflages very well. The jacket reminds us very strongly of Star Wars. Invader Gear offers solid solutions at a realistic price-performance ratio.
